I have lived in the Bay Area for my entire life and never knew about Filoli Gardens until this week. Yesterday (4/8) I made the trip out to Woodside, California after a down pour (for us Californians) earlier in the morning. With my fingers crossed, Elliott and I drove up the peninsula hoping that the rain wouldn’t greet us as we entered the small path down to the admissions building. With an hour to spare in the garden (since they close at 5PM) and my camera battery on 10% (of course), I tried my very best to capture this incredible 16 acre garden as quickly as possible. I definitely plan to make another trip back to Filoli since we did not get the chance to explore the entire layout…but I HIGHLY recommend that all Bay Area natives and visitors schedule a trip to this beautiful garden at some point of their lives.
